Rohini Anand, Ph.D.
Dr. Rohini Anand is Senior Vice President and Global Chief Diversity Officer for Sodexo, a leading provider of food and facilities management services with $20 billion or 13.4 billion euro in annual revenue and nearly 355,000 employees in 80 countries. In her current role, Dr. Anand is responsible for the strategic direction, implementation, and alignment of Sodexo’s integrated global diversity initiatives including sustainable development and corporate citizenship strategies.
Previously, Dr. Anand served as Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer for Sodexo USA, where she lead the organization’s overall diversity and inclusion strategy. Dr. Anand was responsible for designing and developing the organization’s workforce diversity strategy, launching sustained culture change initiatives including employee network groups, developing and implementing a comprehensive learning strategy, and developing and implementing a “diversity scorecard” that links managers’ diversity achievement with their annual compensation.
Widely considered a leading expert on organizational change and diversity and inclusion, Dr. Anand has authored several manuals and has been published in numerous trade journals. Her works include texts on cultural competency and diversity training such as a chapter in The SAGE Handbook of Intercultural Compentancy (2009), Customizing Diversity Training Using Case Vignettes (2001), Multicultural Case Studies: Tools for Training (1999), Teaching Skills and Cultural Competence: A Guide for Trainers (1997) and Cultural Competency in Health Care: A Guide for Trainers (1997).
Dr. Anand has also been the recipient of many prestigious awards and honors including the 2009 Women’s Foodservice Forum Trailblazer Award, the Maryland International Business Leadership Award, the American Institute for Managing Diversity’s Individual Leader Award, WebsterUniversity’s 2008 Women of Influence Award, Diversity Best Practices Diversity Officer Leadership Award, and Diversity Edge Magazine’s Top 20 Diversity Champions. In addition, under Dr. Anand’s leadership, Sodexo is ranked #6 in DiversityInc.’s list of 2009 Top 50 Companies for Diversity.
Dr. Anand received her PhD from the University of Michigan and has served on the boards of several organizations including, the Women’s Foodservice Forum, the MultiCultural Foodservice and Hospitality Alliance, the National MultiCultural Institute, the Johnetta B. Cole Global Diversity and Inclusion Institute, ORC’s Global Diversity Advisory Board, ACTSO Board of the NAACP, the Corporate and Philanthropic Council of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, and the Asian and Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund.

Deepika Bajaj
Deepika Bajaj is the founder of Invincibelle, an online community helping women to thrive in a multicultural world. Invincibelle is for women who wish to share concerns, hopes and aspirations, find information that is relevant to their world, and find leaders who wish to empower women by sharing their experiences. Deepika has more than eight years of experience in telecommunications consulting and corporate marketing. She has served on the board of various professional organizations including the National Society of Hispanic MBAs andWomen in Intel. She has been an active member of the Student Task Force for Women in Cable & Telecom, and was a runner-up in Meet the CEO, a Women for Hire contest. Deepika is currently writing her first book Invincibelle Insight, which will be a great gift from a mother to daughter when she embarks her global career. Ms. Priya Chetty-Rajagopal
Priya Chetty-Rajagopal is a well-known industry figure at Bangalore. She heads the Corporate Practice at Stanton Chase International, a premier Executive Search firm rated as the top seven worldwide, and top two in India. She is a key member of their Global Business Excellence Team, and also has focused on setting up their Global Diversity Practice.
Prior to her joining Stanton Chase, Priya had over 19 years experience in the service industry covering credit cards with Diners Club, and business centers with Diners Business Services. In her last assignment, she had dual responsibilities as General Manager, DBS Corporate Services, and Regional Manager - Asia for Alliance Business Centers Network (ABCN) USA, during which she has interacted with hundreds of top notch corporate and multinationals setting up base in Bangalore. This seasoned industry specialist has been responsible for the set up, operations, marketing and profitability of one of the largest and most well known business centers in India , apart from providing thought leadership, high brand recall, and strategic impetus to the Group, is also on the Marketing Committee of the OBCAI (the worldwide business center trade body) in the USA.
A National Merit Scholar, and an outstanding student in both her Bachelor of Arts and her Post Graduation in Marketing Management, Priya also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations.
Priya has been conferred the Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award for Excellence in 1997 and has also been recognized for her achievements by the Guild of Women Achievers in 2000. In 2004, she was selected by the British Government for the prestigious Chevening Scholarship for Women in Leadership and Management in the UK. She is active in various fora at the BMA, TiE FICCI etc. She is also the immediate past Chairperson of the (IACC) Indo American Chamber of Commerce (Karnataka) in addition to being recently elected to the National Executive Council of the IACC, the first woman to hold either of these positions. She is also the Founder- Chair of the Women's Business Council within the IACC, and the Co-Convener of the CII Women's Business Leadership Forum. She is a frequent speaker on Women's Leadership issues.

Ms. Tracy Ann Curtis
Tracy Ann Curtis is the Asia Pacific & Japan, Inclusion & Diversity Champion for Cisco.
Always a student of culture and human spirit, and a lifelong champion of inclusion and diversity, Tracy Ann has a job aligned with some of her highest values. Ms. Curtis, who currently lives in Bangalore, India, is responsible for developing and executing strategy for Cisco's Inclusion & Diversity initiative across the Asia Pacific & Japan regions.
Ms. Curtis has held a variety of positions throughout Cisco for the past 8+ years, and worked as both an employee and a consultant with a number of other multi-national companies before joining Cisco. Her expertise is in leading large-scale global organizational transformation initiatives, creating talent development architectures and strategies, and cross-cultural integration programs. Tracy Ann holds a Masters Degree in Organizational Development & Analysis from the Weatherhead School of Management (USA), and Bachelor Degrees in Psychology & Philosophy from Ohio Wesleyan and University College London (USA & United Kingdom), as well as a number of certifications for programs related to talent assessment and people development. When not traveling across Asia for Cisco, she can be found on the yoga mat.

Mr. Wim Elfrink
Wim Elfrink has dual roles and organizations at Cisco.
As Chief Globalisation Officer (CGO), Elfrink is leading the next stage of the Cisco globalisation strategy, and as Executive Vice President, Cisco Services, he is responsible for Cisco Services worldwide. In his functions, Elfrink reports directly to Cisco Chairman and CEO John Chambers, is a member of the Cisco Board of Directors, is an officer of the company and is one of Cisco's top 5 executives worldwide.
The Cisco globalisation strategy represents a shift from a geographical focus to a business management focus on skill sets and talents. Cisco will continue to have a centralized strategy and decentralized implementation of this strategy, which is critical to remaining successful in a competitive, global marketplace. This approach touches nearly every facet of the company’s operations and creates a new way to deliver information, products, and services.
As Chief Globalisation Officer, Elfrink leads Cisco efforts to become a truly global entity. Using innovative business models, he’s in the process to globalise many business functions. As Cisco continues to globalise, it will begin to remove the geographic barriers between people and businesses through the use of enabling technologies such as Cisco TelePresence, which allows Cisco to transcend physical presence and reach more customers when and where those customers want.
Elfrink is also Executive Vice President, Cisco Services, a $7B division of Cisco which will be the first function to become fully globalised. The Services organization includes three businesses—Technical Support Services, Remote Operations Services, and Advanced Services—which form Cisco Services. At the heart of Elfrink’s services strategy, the customer is still the focus: customers’ needs continue to evolve toward requiring additional, targeted support services, delivered through specialized experts, leading practices, and tools. Elfrink also chairs the Service Provider Council, overseeing Cisco's worldwide SP strategy. Additionally, he chairs the Emerging Countries Council, overseeing Cisco's strategy in emerging countries worldwide.
Elfrink joined Cisco in 1997, and under his leadership Cisco Services has been and will continue to be dedicated to accelerating customer success with Cisco network technology and applications. Cisco Services has created and now delivers award-winning customer support. Elfrink relocated to Bangalore, India in January 2007.

Ms. Vasantha Erraguntla
Vasantha Erraguntla received a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Osmania University, India and a Masters in Computer Engineering from University of Louisiana, Lafayette. She joined Intel in Oregon, USA in 1991 and worked on the high-speed router technology for the Intel Teraflop machine (ASCI Red). For over 10 yrs, Vasantha was engaged in a variety of advanced prototype design activities at Intel Labs, implementing and validating research ideas in the areas of in high performance & low power circuits and high speed signaling. She relocated to India in June 2004 to start the Bangalore Design Lab to help facilitate world-class circuit research and prototype development. In that role, she led the efforts of the India team in the design and development of the first programmable teraflop research processor. Vasantha has co-authored over 8 papers and has 3 patents issued and 4 pending. She is also a member of IEEE.

Carol Evans
Carol Evans serves as President of Working Mother Media and CEO of Diversity Best Practices which are part of the Bonnier Corporation. Carol’s involvement with Working Mother magazine dates back to 1978, when she played a critical role in the launch. She grew Working Mother magazine from $100,000 to $14,000,000 over the next decade, serving first as advertising director and then as VP Publisher. In 1986 she founded the Working Mother 100 Best Companies, still the most important workplace benchmark in the country.
Between 1989 and 2001, Carol ran two publishing companies. She was President of Stagebill, serving 110 arts organizations nationwide. In 1996, she became Chief Operating Officer of The Chief Executive Group, where she launched a highly successful conference division, hosting more than 600 leading CEOs per year.
In August 2001, Carol Evans founded Working Mother Media by acquiring Working Mother magazine and the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE), becoming the first mom to own Working Mother. She has launched several key initiatives to support the advancement of women including Best Companies for Multicultural Women, Best Law Firms for Women, Best of Congress, and Best Companies for Hourly Workers.
In 2006, Working Mother Media acquired Diversity Best Practices (DBP), the leading membership organization supporting diversity and inclusion in the workplace. DBP’s sessions, conferences, research, and publications allow companies to leap ahead on their diversity journey. At DBP, Carol has launched the Network and Affinity Leadership Congress (NALC), CEO Roundtables, the DBP Benchmarking and Assessment Tool and the Global initiative.
A graduate of Empire State College/SUNY, Carol serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of the March of Dimes. Carol has won numerous awards including the Admiral Grace Hopper Women’s Diversity Champion Award/ U.S. Navy; Dr. Martin Luther King Visionary Award/ Walmart; Work-Life Legacy Award/ Families and Work Institute; the Highest Leaf Award/ Women’s Venture Fund; Excellence in Women’s Health Award/ Jacobs Institute and the YWCA Hall of Fame.

Carol’s book, the award-winning This is How We Do It: The Working Mother’s Manifesto was published in May 2006 by Penguin Group. She is most proud of being mom to Julia Rose (20) and Robert (23), and wife of Bob Coulombe, a Major in the New York Guard.

Jackie Glenn
Jackie Glenn is a seasoned executive in Strategic Planning, Human Resources, Talent Development, Diversity and Inclusion. She is currently the Chief Diversity Officer and Senior Director of Human Resources for EMC Corporation. In this position, she leads the Corporate Diversity strategy for the company’s global operations insuring an innovative and inclusive workforce as well as the advancement of a cross cultural experience for EMC’s 42,000 employees.
Jackie joined EMC in 2000, following a stellar 26-year career in various areas of HR and healthcare administration. She has held positions across the HR spectrum including Employee Relations, Training and Development, Recruiting, Organizational Development, and Consulting and Coaching.
Prior to her current position, she provided strategic and tactical Human Resources support to EMC sales groups comprising more than 1200 employees across both domestic and international sites.
She is a founding member of EMC’s Black Employee Affinity Group (BEAG) and has previously served as advisor to the group. Jackie completed the BEAG Mentoring Program for Managers and serves as a mentor to several EMC employees.
Jackie received her undergraduate degree in Healthcare Administration from Emmanuel College and a Masters Degree in Human Resources management from Lesley University. She has been nominated by the Girl Scouts as a leading woman, by the YMCA for the Black Achiever Award and by EMC for the President’s Award.
She has a passion for community advocacy and civic leadership and is a champion for issues affecting children and families. She serves as the Human Resources liaison on the Children’s Services of Roxbury Board of Directors and is an active member of Jubilee Christian Church of Boston. In her spare time, she practices Bikram Yoga. .

Ms. Shalini Mahtani
Shalini Mahtani is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Community Business, a leading non- profit organisation in Hong Kong working with some of the world’s largest companies in corporate social responsibility (CSR). Shalini works with leadership in these companies on matters of CSR strategy, corporate community investment, diversity in the workplace and work-life balance. Shalini has advised many companies on CSR in Asia, conducted extensive research and written numerous publications on these subjects.
Shalini was honoured by the World Economic Forum as a Global Young Leader in 2009. In 2008, Shalini was awarded an MBE from Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II for services to corporate social responsibility in Hong Kong. In 2007, Shalini was named Asia 21 Young Leader by the United States’ Asia Society and named as one of 35 global women leaders under the age of 35 in the “35 under 35” list by UK based World Business. In 2005, Shalini was awarded the “Chief Executives Commendation for Community Service” by the Hong Kong SAR Government for her contribution to the ethnic minorities of Hong Kong.
Before Community Business, Shalini had a career in accounting and banking. She is a graduate of the London School of Economics and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Shalini was born in Hong Kong and her family has lived in Hong Kong for four generations. She is ethnically Indian. Shalini is married with two children.

Ms. Madhu Bindiganavalae Manjunath
Madhu Bindiganavalae Manjunath, part of Senior QE Management team at RSA Security (Security Division of EMC), leads the testing practice for the world class RSA SIEM solution. She has also been instrumental in setting up a truly customer-focused Performance, Scalability and Reliability Test Lab and Practice for EMC NetWorker, a Backup and Recovery solution.
Madhu is CQA certified and has 14+ years of experience in the IT industry spanning diverse domains and work areas. Prior to EMC, Madhu worked for Symphony Services, i2 Technologies, HCL Perot Systems and Pharma Systems and built smart QE organizations and practice.
Madhu holds a Masters degree in Economics, MCA, Advanced Diploma in Commercial French and PGDBA (Operations) from Symbiosis, Pune. In addition to her technical background and experience, Madhu is a professionally trained vocalist and a playback singer. She has given concerts in India and abroad and sings Indian, French and Arabic Rai music.

Ms. Ratnamala Dam Manna
Ratnamala Dam Manna, started her career with a software firm called Frontier Computers. In 1999 she joined Veritas Software & when Veritas merged with Symantec Corporation in 2005 she became a part of the Symantec Family.
In a career spanning 14 years, she has donned various roles starting from that of an individual contributor to a technical lead, a manager and now the Director of Engineering. She also heads the Symantec Women’s Action Network (SWAN) where they provide career counseling and mentorship training to women employees. She is a staunch advocate of women empowerment.
As a mother of two lovely daughters, she feels she couldn’t have achieved anything significant in life without the support of her husband and daughters.

Professor Indira J. Parikh
Prof. Indira Parikh is the Founder President of Foundation for Liberal And Management Education, Pune. Earlier she was Dean of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad from 2002 to 2005 and Professor in the Organizational Behaviour Area at the Institute. She has held the positions of the Chairperson of Organizational Behaviour Area, Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), Postgraduate Diploma in Management Program (PGP), Placement Committee and Alumni Relations and Activity Committee. She is the Founder Member of Sumedhas: The Academy for Human Context. She is on the Board of Indian Oil Corporation Limited and several other organizational and academic boards.
The current focus of work is on transformation of organizations, corporate management and individuals. She has designed management development programmes in institution building, Leadership effectiveness, issues of role and identity, and Organizational renewal. She is involved in Organization Design and Development studies as well as assessment of individuals and organizations. Prof. Parikh has taught at INSEAD, Fontainbleau, France and Texas A & M University, USA. She has done consulting at national and international settings with many donor agencies. Published books on Profiles in Identity (Co-author), Indian Women - An Inner Dialogue, Young Managers at Cross -Roads (Co-author), Corporate Culture in India (Co-author), Cross Roads of Culture (Co-author) and numerous papers in national and international journals.
Prof. Parikh has been awarded Lifetime Achievement Award for Best Teacher in Management by Ascent in World HRD Congress, 2001. Has been awarded Lifetime Achievement Award for the Contributions to HR by Indira Group of Institutes, Pune, 2003. Has been awarded Lifetime Achievement Award by PGP Students, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (2003-05 Batch). She was also awarded The 16th Business School Affaire and Dewang Mehta Business School Award for Lifetime Achievement recently.

Ms. Jessie Paul
Jessie Paul is Chief Marketing Officer for Wipro Technologies. She is responsible for further enhancing Wipro’s brand globally and was instrumental in launching the “Applied Innovation” theme campaign. She is also a member of Wipro Technologies’ Diversity Council.
Jessie Paul has over a decade of experience in services marketing and brand internationalization. She has been recognized for her contribution to putting the Indian IT Industry on the global map, and has been named one of the most influential business women in IT in India.
Prior to joining Wipro, Jessie spearheaded the marketing function for iGATE Global Solutions (NASDAQ: IGTE). Previously, as Global Brand Manager, Jessie helped establish the marketing department at Infosys (NASDAQ: INFY), putting in place the marketing infrastructure and processes. Her efforts at Infosys earned her the Chairman’s Award and also the Diamond Award from IT Services Marketing Association of America.
Both Wipro Technologies and Infosys have been instrumental in building “brand India” as we know it today. She has been a speaker on the topic of brand internationalization at various conferences in India and US, including Forbes Executive Women’s Forum, CII Marketing Summit, and ITSMA Annual Marketing Conference.She has published articles on marketing and branding in various leading publications, runs a blog on marketing at www.jessiepaul.com and is currently authoring a book, “Marketing in a Flat World” to be published by McGraw Hill in early 2009.

Ms. Ranjani Ranganath
Ranjani Ranganath is the General Manager, Technology Strategy and Business Management for ANZ. She is responsible for ANZ’s Technology strategy development and operations management globally as well as ‘on-ground’ leadership for the Technology team in Bangalore.
She has over 25 years of industry experience in information technology, banking and financial services and has had a successful management career spanning operations, business and research, with GE, IBM, Cisco and Citicorp in the past. She also ran her own boutique consulting company for a short while. Ranjani has global work experience, working in India and UK, managing customers and teams across the US, Europe and Asia.
Ranjani has been a thought leader and supporter of diversity initiatives as the means to driving organisational change. She was recognised by IT People as the IT Woman Leader 2008 in January 2008.
Ranjani has a BA in Economics from the University of Delhi. She is also a PMP, certified Six Sigma Green Belt, certified ISO 9000 lead assessor, certified CQA and trained SEI-CMM assessor.

Dr. Shailaja D. Sharma
Shailaja D Sharma represents Shell’s Alternative Fuels business in India, and in particular leads business development activities for Hydrogen, as well as biofuels. In addition, she is the advocacy focal point on climate change for Shell in India, engaging with government, businesses, and other stakeholders on this important subject.
Shailaja holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from IIT Bombay. Her career began at the World Bank (Resident Mission, New Delhi) in 1991, and since then she has spent equal portions of time in the socio-economic development sector, as a statistician and consultant; in the IT sector as a distance learning expert; and finally in the Energy Sector, with Shell, in diverse roles including corporate affairs and business development.
Shailaja is a member of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineeers, and represents Shell on a range of industry forums, including the CII Biofuels Committee, FICCI Renewable Energy Committee and TERI-BCSD.

Ms. Srimathi Shivashankar
Srimathi Shivashankar is a B.E from R.E.C (India) and MBA from USA. She started her career in Manufacturing Industry in the field of Marketing and moved on to General Management and Leadership Training since 1997. She has vast experience working in the areas of counseling, client relationship management, managing cross culture work force, training and assessments and has also been a lead member in organization wide change initiatives.
As the principal Diversity Officer at Infosys, she strategizes and deploys Diversity and Inclusion programs across Infosys group. She is also a member of the Infosys Sustainability Council, in which she anchored the publication of the first Sustainability Report. She is one among the Future Leaders Team (FLT 2008) set up by World Business Council for Sustainability Development (WBCSD) last year. She is also one of the core members for gender inclusivity programs in NASSCOM- India. She has also been selected recently to be on the gender advisory and reporting group of Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). She represents Infosys in the Affirmative Action Council of CII- India. Srimathi has also published and presented papers in International forums on Diversity.
